Pickle Line Control

Project Notes:
* Control done with GE VersaPro, later converted to Proficy ME (GE 90/70 PLCs, one for Main control, one for SideTrimmer control)
* HMI's (2) are GE Cimplicity HMI V4.01 SP10
* Line driven by 8 Avtron ADD 32 DC motor drives
* Also interfaced with Fume Scrubber and Sheet Oiler PLC's (AB SLC 500's)

4 Roll Calendar Control

Project Notes:
* Control done with Allen Bradley PLC5/40E
* HMI is Allen Bradley PanelView Plus
* Uplinked via serial link to Honeywell DCS controller (recipes, etc)
* Driven by 10 Avtron ADD32 DC motor drives.

Notes:
1) Machine had about a million safeties. They used to have to call maintance to find out why it wouldn't start-up.
    I added the status screen that showed the state of all safety switches and estops.
2) This was fun because you had to track a splice all the way though the system and change tension settings as the splice passed.

Paper Machine Control (Done in Spanish)

Project Notes:
* Control done with AutoMax PLC (communication via Avtron NetMax card)
* HMI is RSView Machine Edition
* Driven by lineshaft and 18 Reliance DC motor drives.

Slitter Control 

Project Notes:
* Control is done by RSLogix 5000 and RSLogix 5 (AB Control Logix, PLC5/40E)
* HMI is RSView Machine Edition and CTC Interact
* Custom Muti-State Indicator (OCX) for RSView done in VB
* Driven by 5 Avtron ADD32 DC motor drives.

Jet Engine Starter Test Stand Control

Project Notes:
* Control is Visual Basic/Visual C hybrid with data transfer to ADD32 motor controlor via GE Ethernet EGD
* Displays are done in Visual Basic

Fume Recovery System

Project Notes:
* Control is done with RSLogix 500 (AB SLC500)
* HMI is Cimplicity HMI 4.01 SP 10
* Alarms and status data stored to Microsoft SQL Server for generation of EPA compliance reports

Pilgering Mill Control

Project Notes:
* Control is done with Proficy Machine Edition (GE PacSystems RX3i)
* HMI is Proficy Machine Edition
* Driven by 2 Avtron ADD32 DC motor drives and 2 GE servo motors (Loader and Pusher).
